Baptism

Baptism is the gateway to the Christian life. Through it, we are freed from sin, reborn as children of God, and welcomed into the Church. We joyfully receive children and adults into the Catholic faith through this Sacrament.

Requirements to get baptised

For parents

Must be registered parishioners

Attend baptismal preparation class

Present child's birth certificate

Both parents' baptismal certificates

Two passport photographs of the child

For Godparents

Must be a confirmed and practising Catholic

At least 16 years of age

Present a letter of recommendation from their parish

Only one godparent is required (one male, one female preferred)

A non-Catholic Christian may serve as a witness, not godparent

Register for baptism

Baptism Days: 1st & 3rd Sundays of every month

Time: During the 10:00 AM Family Mass

Preparation Class: Saturday before Baptism Sunday, 10:00 AM

Registration Deadline: Two weeks before the Baptism date
